this performance has been a first for me in many different ways.
it was my premiere performance en pointe
my first time dancing our dear MAMA's choreography
the first time dancing with the primary, grade 1's, 5's and 6'es
the first time i spent 210 hours at siglap within 5 weeks
the first time i had dinner with the other advanced girls...
the first time i rationed a subway sandwich for breakfast/lunch/dinner
the first time i came to know about BALLERINA cookies
the first time i warmed up before class began
the first time i sprained my toes
the first time i sprained my knee
the first time i got a blue black every other day
now that it's all over, i miss the pain, the sweat, the ache, the blisters, the burns, the whining, the hunger, the rush, the torture, the scoldings, the fatigue, the insanity and most importantly, ALL the fun we had and bonds forged.
